Social Currencies in Prosumer Communities and Networks
Learn about social currencies in this theoretical-practical workshop. We will practise with some exercises that help understanding the social and solidarity economy dynamics.
We will start from the understanding that the use of debt-money is harmful to social, relational and environmental ecosystems. We will focus then on understanding how a trust-based social currency can conversely be regenerative for the ecosocial contexts in which it is introduced.
The Multitrueque Mixiuhca commission of pollinators have carried out several virtual and face-to-face workshops of this type to multiply the practice of community currency and multitrueque, from these experiences many prosumer communities have been born, not only in Mexico but also in other Latin American countries.
Join this online workshop to explore community currencies!
This session will be held in Spanish with live interpretation into English.
