Weaving the Word in Circle
Register for free and join the participatory webinar Weaving the Word Circle, where we will explore the Word Circle: Communication, Empathic Listening, Pollinating territories and strengthening ecosocial transition practices.
The main objective of this workshop is to introduce and inspire the use of the ancient social technology of the Word Crcle as an effective tool for weaving community, harmonising communication and strengthening relationships based on empathic listening and active participation.
This ancestral social technology has been practised over time by the indigenous communities of Abya Yala (American continent). The community circle opens up spaces for listening, sharing knowledge, decision-making, celebration and healing. It is a tool for self-organisation that contemplates the principles for the care of life from the greater government of nature and the self-government of the being.
It is based on deep listening and the sweet word, where what is spoken/listened to coincides with what is intended and manifests itself coherently in collaborative actions (tequio or minga of thought). In this way, experiential processes of interdependence and collective wisdom are created for different purposes and agreements in the care of life and the generational preservation of knowledge.
Simultaneous translation and interpretation Spanish-English and English-Spanish will be provided for this event.
